Pipplash

Privacy, in plain language

Your garden.
Your information.

This policy explains the information handled by Pipplash, its advertising and purchase services, and these support pages.

1. Your game progress

Levels, garden pieces, earned coins, cosmetic selections, and game settings are stored locally in the app's web view, with a native device-storage backup. Pipplash does not require an account and the developer does not upload your game progress to a game server.

The app does not use a separate developer-run gameplay analytics service. This does not exclude information processed by advertising services below. Core puzzle play works offline; ads, purchases, and restoring purchases may need a connection.

Clearing app data, resetting progress, or removing the app can remove local progress. We cannot recover a garden from a developer server. Apple's device backup behavior is separate and a backup is not guaranteed.

2. Advertising and technical information

Pipplash uses Google AdMob for interstitial ads between puzzles and optional rewarded videos. Ad requests are configured as non-personalized, and publisher ad personalization is disabled. After the regional consent flow and before advertising initializes, the app may offer Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission when appropriate. This choice is optional and never blocks gameplay. With your permission, the advertising SDK may use device identifiers for advertising measurement across other companies' apps or services. If you decline, any ads that can be served are requested without the advertising identifier (IDFA), and the core game remains available.

Non-personalized does not mean no information is processed. Google may handle the following information through its advertising and consent SDKs:

Information that may be handled by Google's SDKs
InformationWhat it is used for
IP address and approximate locationGeneral location, ad delivery, and regional consent handling.
Device or app identifiersAdvertising operations, fraud prevention, frequency controls, and measurement.
Ad views and interactionsDelivering ads, checking rewarded-video completion, and advertising reporting.
Crash, performance, and diagnostic informationOperating and improving the advertising or consent services.

Google explains these practices in its Mobile Ads data disclosure guide. Its ad serving guidance explains that non-personalized ads may still use local storage or identifiers for frequency limits and aggregate reporting.

3. Your privacy and ad choices

The native Google User Messaging Platform presents regional privacy choices when required. In the app's Settings, use the privacy option to reopen available choices. The options and whether a form is required depend on your region, consent state, and Google's service.

Apple's tracking permission is a separate choice. Its availability depends on your device settings and permission status. You can manage that permission in iOS Settings. Allowing tracking does not enable personalized ads in Pipplash, and declining does not restrict the game or its earned rewards.

You can use Report last ad in Settings to open an email about an inappropriate ad. The draft may include the app version, ad format, time, response identifier, and whether it was a test ad. You decide whether to send the email and what to include.

You can skip optional rewarded-video offers. Buying Remove Ads stops interstitial ads; rewarded-video offers remain optional.

4. Apple purchases

Apple processes the optional, non-consumable Remove Ads purchase through StoreKit. The app checks Apple's verified transaction and entitlement information on your device to enable the purchase. There is no developer purchase-validation server, and the developer does not receive your payment-card details.

Remove Ads does not have a subscription or scheduled expiry. A purchase may no longer apply if Apple refunds or revokes it. Restore Purchases checks eligible purchases through your Apple Account; local game progress is separate from the purchase.

Apple handles payment and account information under its Privacy Policy. Requests for a refund are handled by Apple.

5. Email support and this website

If you contact info@doenzo.net, we receive your email address, your message, and any details or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your question, investigate an ad or purchase issue, and handle privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, or unnecessary personal details.

These pages contain no analytics, tracking scripts, forms, or external font files, and do not set cookies. The hosting service may keep standard access or security logs, such as an IP address, requested page, and request time. Those logs are used to deliver and secure the website.

6. Retention and service providers

Local game information stays on your device until it is reset or removed, subject to the device's own backup and storage behavior. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and any applicable record-keeping obligations.

Google and Apple process information under their own retention and privacy policies, and may process it in countries outside your own. Their policies explain the safeguards and options they provide. See Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

Where data-protection law applies, optional advertising storage or access uses consent when required. Support requests and website security are handled to provide support and keep the service safe. You can contact us about the basis for a particular use of your information.

7. Questions and your rights

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. The European Commission's guide to individual rights explains rights that apply in the EU.
